Turbo Scratcher need replacement cardboard?

I bought our first TS a several months ago. At some point I flipped the circular cardboard insert and the picture shows the current state of the other side. From what you see should it be completely replaced now?

You could probably go awhile yet before replacing them. There is a sale right now on Chewy.com - $4.19 for TWO replacement pads.

Also, if the middle part is getting a bit ragged I widen the middle hole and push a plastic wine cork down onto the middle sharp part so they wont hurt their paws.

I'd say the same thing too, although my kitties hardly scratch their TS but usually my office chair but it's ok, there's no damage done, no matter how much they've scratched at it! Lol It's a mesh/netting like material.

Anyway, yeah, I'd say leave it until it's perfectly useless for them to scratch on, but stock up on it the meantime!

I replace it when the little pieces of torn off cardboard getting all over the floor start to drive me crazy. That one would still have a while to go...
