Travel with Kitty

Kitty is 9 weeks old and has to travel to my parents house for Christmas. On her way home from the shelter it was appartent she did not like it in the car. Is there something I can do to make this ordeal more enjoyable?

You can try Bach Rescue Remedy. Here's their web site:

It's natural. You can put a couple of drops in the water.

Another option would be sedative prescribed by the vet. But since it's only a kitten that might not be a good idea. You can contact the vet for more info on that.

Also you can cover the carrying case with a towel so the kitty is more relaxed, but be sure the kitty has openings with air

good luck on the trip.

Me and my family move a lot and we have 4 kitties. We just drove around with them a few times in the car before the long drive to get them used to it and they seemed to get better each time.
