ok I took Bobo (the homeless cat) to SPCA today. They told me he's got ear-mites and stuff.. and that hump on his back is an old injury that was left to heal. Good thing is that his back doesn't really bother him anymore.
They told me they'll keep bobo for 4 days in case his owner came look for him (which is highly unlikely.. they said bobo's been through a lot, he was un-cared for). After 4 days, they'll put him up for adoption. After two more weeks if nobody wants him, they'll put him down!
They said it is becoz the shelter is extremely crowded, even if they take bobo in today, bobo will have to live in the bathroom.
I asked.. what are the chances of him getting adpoted, they say they can tell bobo will not be a favorite.. but, you'll never know!
As I was thinking, who will want a deformed cat when there are hundreds of healthy (and much prettier) ones to choose from? I don't want them to kill Bobo, coz I feel like I'm responsible.. bobo was happily living on the street, I'll be the one who got him killed.
I said I'll take him in, and the ppl at SPCA are thrilled. They de-wormed bobo and gave me some ear cleaning solution and send bobo back home with me.
Now I just need to find a way to explain to my parents so they'll help me out with the neutering and vaccination fee..!
