I Need Some Answers Regarding Stray Cats

I am going to be bringing a stray cat into my home. I've taken him to the vet and had him tested for disease and also had him neutered. I have 5 other cats in my home. What would be the best way to introduce him to my other cats? Also he is very friendly, but has a tendency to bite hard after I've been petting him for a few minutes. Is there anything I can do? Should I be concerned that maybe this will be a problem that he will always have? I really want him to be as happy as possible so any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

There's several techniques to introduce cats.

1. Keep the new cat in ONE room and keep the door closed at all time. That cats will get used to each other through the door.

To further help..
2. Keep a blanket/towel where you new cat lays, and where your other cat lays.. After a while, swicth towels so they get used to eachothers scent/

And for a proper first introduction,
3. Keep the new cat inside a cat-carrier when introducing. They will hiss at first, but doing this correctly will help prevent future problems.

I also suggest keeping new kitty away while he heals from surgery.
