Painting help...

Thomas helped me paint my dining room this weekend. He tried to suffocate himself repeatedly by crawling under the plastic drop cloth. But don't worry, he chewed his way out. He jumped in the paint tray once and brushed up against the wall twice, he now has distinctive burgandy patches on his body. And I woke up on Sunday morning with TWO paint rollers in my bed...I don't know how he got them up there.

Thank you Thomas.

That's pretty funny. I have been painting too, but thank goodness the smell has driven Dusty away. Every time he tries to enter the room, he sniffs at the air, ears go back, and he darts away. I have to admit, it is the smelliest paint I've ever had to deal with!

Ahh.....that's the trick. I should have asked for smellier paint.

Ha HA, I can only imagine the kind of trouble Gaylord would cause if I was painting

I can relate to that one... Otis was such a huge help last timke I pulled out the rollers - his favorite was the bog plastic drop cloth also I ended up having to lock him in a separate room until the pain had dried a little - I hated to hear his cries, but he was getting a little too "into" the paint for my liking, and I had visions of white kittie prints all over my new carpet....

I was wondering about painting because the kitchen and bath are on the list this fall. I think I'll end up locking them in the basement until I'm finished and the paint has dried. I don't need any messes.

We're renovating and now Levi is covered in caulking and drywall mud. Cleo has white pads on her feet from jumping in the wet painted window sill. Lucas is smart and hasn't gotten into things yet .
