Orphaned 3-4 week kittens

Hey all, haven't posted in a while... But we've just come up with a big problem, and I thought I'd share in case anyone has some advice...

Saturday morning we found a dead momma cat in a tiger cage (I'm an intern at a Big Cat rescue for those who don't know or remember me), and this morning we found 7 surprises in our tool shed. We've gone out and gotten bottles and kitten milk, and we brought them home with us tonight. We know how to "potty" them and everything.

A couple of the interns have already fallen in love and picked out a kitten or two they want. I'm trying not to get too close because I have a kitty waiting for me at home, and he'd be ever so offended if I left him for 4 months and returned with another kitten. Plus after catching him in my backyard, I know how expensive even a free kitten can be. But the interns have a no-pets policy at our houses, plus we're gone 12 hours a day at work. We only have a month and a half left, and it'll be about 4-5 weeks before the kittens are technically old enough to go home with someone anyway.

*shrugs* I guess I'm not asking for help, just sharing, but if anyone has some input, I'll listen.

Oh right, kitten pictures. Of course:

Oh yeah, the little orange and white one has a squinty eye. Any ideas on that?

All I can say is that they are very lucky and very cute.
If you have more pictures, we always love a kitten fix! Good Luck...and how cool is that internship?

I'm trying to decide if that would look good or bad for you to have your local paper run their story? Sometimes those local tragedies/quirky stories get animals adopted in an instant.

LOL! "6 Kittens Orphaned by Siberian Tiger" would get attention, don't you think? Not that the poor mommy's unfortunate end is at all funny, but it IS a very odd situation.

So far, two interns want two kittens each, and another wants one, so all but the two orange ones are spoken for. Now, whether or not the interns'll get to keep the kittens, we don't know. But for now, we're enjoying kitty-sitting at night, even if we do have to get up at 3 am to feed them
