has anyone tried the Panic Mouse yet? it looks awfully fun and my cats would love it, but I want to get some opinions before I spend 30 bucks on it...

Very anti-panic mouse here. Icky poo is my opinion.

The concensus seems to be that cats think it is weird and don't like it or are scared of it. Either that or they totally ignore it. If we'd take a poll, I think it would be rated one of the worse cat toys ever made, honestly.

We had it for a short period of time. I thought it looked really cool, but it didn't turn out to be! It was given to us by someone else who didn't have success with it...our cats looked at and paid no attention to it. We tossed it.

I thought about getting it, but knowing Marsh he'll probably play with it for 5min, and 'GET IT' and never touch it again

I got one by accident. I bought a different toy off e-bay and the supplier sent a panic mouse instead. Got it for much cheaper than normal and wasn't overly impressed. Cleveland will take notions of playing with it but would rather you dangled a bit of ribbon for him. I think Pete got the most amusement from it when I turned it up full and got batted with the mouse several times before I could turn it off. I wouldn't spend the money on it.
