What a Night!!!

So my son is away and I've been staying with my boyfriend the past few days. My father lives in the apartment below me and I asked him to look in on my babies and make sure they have food and water. I have the self cleaning litter box but you know when you're away a few days an odor builds up. Well apparently my father went to my apartment Tuesday night to watch a movie and didn't want to smell the litter box so he closed a door in my living room that separates my sons room and the bathroom. So basically he locked the cats out of the bathroom where the litter box is and didn't open the door again when he left. Needless to say my apartment was a mess when I got home last night. Both my cats wet and pooped on my bed. I was so upset but not at them because it wasn't their fault. But my question is why couldn't they just go on the floor? Why my bed?

My boyfriend and I had to sleep in my son's room last night and we locked them out but they wouldn't stop meowing the entire night. I'm thinking they missed us. It was weird, they've never acted like that before.

I wanted to kill my father!!!
