I feel like getting a 2nd kitten...

I've had my 6 month old kitten for about 4 months and i feel like it'd be nice to have a 2nd kitten to play with her.

i'm going to stop by the local shelter and see if i can find the orange tabby i initially wanted when i got my gray tabby instead (couldn't resist!).

anyone think it might be a bad idea considering there would be 2 cats in the house now and everyone in my home works from 9-5... would 2 cats be more likely to cause more destruction?

Actually two kittens should be less trouble, cuz they entertain each other.

However, in my experience they also seem to tear around more and knock more stuff over together. But kittens are kittens. Two's nice if your gone a lot cuz they can keep each other company.

I think getting a second kitten is a fantastic idea. I think all single cats should have a playmate if possible, especially if they are home alone for any length of time. Good for you....I hope you find exactly what you want!
