Nicknames

Just for fun...what kind of nicknames do you guys have for your cats? Here's some of mine.

When we first got Simone we were told she was a he. So, 'his' name being Simon, I would call 'him' Simone for fun. Well, when 'he' had the UTI and we found out it was a girl, the vet said just throw an 'e' on the end, so that's how we got 'Simone'. Both cats came with the names they had when we got them. I can't see changing the names unless it's something really weird.

My Dad's girlfriend's one daughter calls Simone 'Simmy' or 'Sims'. She calls Snowball 'Snow'.

I call them puddy cats. You know how Tweety 'tawt he taw a puddy tat'? So yeah, they're my puddies, or puddy cats. Hehe!

My fiance started Joey's nickname - Jo-Jo. So half the time that's what I call him. "Joooeeyyy! Jo! JoJo, where are you??" hehehe.

My parents have a cat, Angel. My dad has always called him Raggs. I don't understand that one.

Their other cat, Tuffy, I call Old Man. I also call Joey Little Boy and Angel sometimes Big Boy. Heh.

The parents' two dogs (both female) I collectively refer to as "the girlies" as in "Come on girlies, let's go!" The fiance's dog, male, we call Freak, Crazy, and so on.

I usually refer to most of mine as "baby love". When I'm loving on them anyway. Most of them I use their regular name except Ashley, I usually call her, "Ashey" or "Ashes".

Sorry

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to embarrass anyone. I just thought it'd be fun to see what names we came up with and how.

Of course you don't have to answer if it makes you uncomfortable. No sarcasm intended if it seems that way.

Don't be sorry, it's a great thread. Sometimes things don't translate as well through typing as they would when you hear inflections in a persons voice. I was not offended or made uncomfortable by the topic - I just meant I was embarrassed at myself for the silly things I call my cat.

I love hearing all the nicknames, it gives really good insight into how everyone feels about their pets.

Awww

Raiynee,
You call yours puddy, too? Hehe. Thought I was the only one!

Misty,
Millie Vanilli is probably something I would have called a cat named Millie, too. LOL!
