I have no idea. Why not try searching the web for an insect database.

Let us know when you find out

Uh oh

I asked my husband what he thought it could be. He was saying mites are red, so it could be mites!?! Check the cat's skin and see if there are more.

Even if your cat does not go outside, I've heard it is possible for them to get mites. For example, we have some friends that let their cats outside. I can go over there, hold the cat, come home and hold my own and just like that I can get a mite on them from off my shirt or what have you.

Just for the heck of adding this: Of course there are dust mites, too. I was reading on them the other day. Every household has them no matter how clean you are. Your dead skin on your sheets is all you need to breed them. Dust particles can even breed them. Makes you want to go clean your house now doesn't it?

Thinking about bugs and stuff creeps me out. You ever watch shows on Discovery and such about bugs in your house? Eww, makes me cringe! I try not to think about all the bugs in my bed and couches and such.... It's amazing the bugs and stuff that are everywhere you can't even see!

Ohh.... I must not think on this.... :shudders:
