emergency! cat pregnancy question

my cat recently got outdoors and was impregnated by my neighbors cat. i took her to the vet right before thanksgiving and they said she had about two more weeks before she had her kittens. well, in two weeks, nothing. so i took her back and they said it was just a matter of days. well, it is almost the new year and she still hasn't delivered. any idea why she might not have? her belly seems to hang lowere now instead of her being wide. does that mean it is gonna be soon?

I would say your cat seriously needs to be checked over at the vets if she is more than a week overdue giving birth. She may need to have a caesarian, or it could even be worse. If i were you I would get her to a vet ASAP to find out what state she is in.

If she has not been able to give birth, and any or all of the kittens have died inside her, it will cause serious health implications for her unless they are taken out right away.

Please let me know what happens, and please please get her neutered once all this is over!

I agree with Ems. This could very well (probably is) a very serious situation. I would get her to the vet asap! Let us know if she is all right, please.
