That's horrible - the poor kitty crying at the beginning really upset me.

Pretty lame. I saw one where some a****** turned his music up really loud and said the cat was rocking his head to the music like a headbanger, when in reality he was killing the cats ears!

Well, I have to DISAGREE. It's the amount and duration that MAY be abusive, not the activity itself, because frankly, I spin Rocket around on the floor (not that fast and certainly not long enough to make him dizzy) and HE LOVES IT!!! It's playtime for Rocket. I don't do it with my other cats because they don't like it.

I don't know what the cat pictured thought of it, but it didn't look like he was complaining much. If this was something done to him before, and he didn't like it, he wouldn't allow it to be done again. Cats have claws and fangs!! Frankly, the cat involved can jump up and run away anytime he doesn't like it, and they most certainly will.

You have to respect what each individual animal's likes and dislikes are.

PS - if anything, it was the attitude of the humans involved that was abusive---they were doing it for their own kicks and entertainment.

Watch it again with the volume turned up, at the beginning, the cat is crying and squealing, until they start spinning it faster. - Not cool at all! About the attacking thing, my cat would let me do anything to him before he'd attack me (he's mellow and trusting) - that doesn't mean it's okay for me to do what I want regardless of whether or not he is showing displeasure. JMO.

OK, I only watched it once, and I don't remember any crying and squealing. I'm sure you're right.

I don't find anything humorous about it.
