fun with paper

In some posts in other topics I mentioned that some of my most successful cat toys were ones I had made. And my topic on Da Bird I relate my change of opinion on that most popular cat toy and the reasons for it. Shown below are two cat toys made from a paper bag.

I replaced the feathers on Da Bird with cut up strips of a paper bag. My cats have 90% of the fun and exercise, with 10% of the undesired behavior induced by Da Bird:

And I extended the idea to make something that I can hang in a doorway:

Hmm interesting. I'm wondering if this is a possibility for the panic mouse. Snowball is aggressive and growls when he plays with the panic mouse. *going to see if she can mimic timskitties for the panic mouse*

with the panic mouse, make sure that whatever you use to attach can't be pulled off and get into their mouth.

with my gizmo, I have to watch to see that they don't get the attachment in their mouth, because it's metal, and if it's in their mouth and I pull too hard, I might hurt them.

'course if it's just the paper they've got their fangs into....
