New toy

I had to tell you all about this toy I bought from ebay... it seems so simple, but they all love it so much.

Its called catch-a-fly, it is a simple dragonfly made from a thick paper and kinda candy wrapper wings on a piece of thin wire which is S - shaped at the other end. You squeeze the S and the dragonfly moves.

My cats are going crazy over them... its kind of easier to understand what it looks like if you look at it on the website www.MyCatToy.com

looks like it would be easy enough to make yourself. just get some raffia. you can get the clear plasticy stuff at craft stores, and bend some wire.

cool!! I really want to buy some new toys for the cats, but they're just as intersted in the ones i "make" myself (does tossing a peice of crumpled paper on the floor count as making something?! lol)

Glad yours are having fun with the dragonfly!

that's why it would probably be more economical to make it yourself. you could make dosens for like $10 and when one gets shredded, just throw it away and grab a new one.

so far they haven't - I opened the package when I got home and they are still playing with them 2 hours later.

yes, seeing them now, its pretty easy to make them yourself but they were recommended by a friend and I hadn't actually seen one.
