Zoom Groom

I bought a Zoom Groom brush today. Man! Is that ever slick! I was astonished at the amount of loose hair I brushed out of Mellie's coat, and I've been brushing her every day with a slicker brush. And it doesn't cost much, either. If it's one hairball averted, it's more than worth it. And she just loved it....was writhing on the floor in pure ecstasy!

Yes! It is Sammi's favorite thing in the whole world! I hold it up and she comes running to me to be brushed with it. It's so easy to clean too!
I saw somewhere you can buy it online for only 4 dollars too.
Plus, it's virtually indestructable unless you melt it.

Roze - what motivated me to buy it were your pics of Sammi enjoying the Zoom Groom!

What is Zoom Groom?

I'm up for anything that removes a lot of fur. Stephen hates to be brushed. I have a slicker brush for her b/c it seems to grab the most fur, but it's a battle!

Oh, the best thing for brushing the cats. I just might have to give them a good brushing tonight.

Snowball can't get enough of it. Simone hates being brushed, but when you stop she rubs all up against the Zoom Groom. But, as you brush her she is creeping away from you, so you have to hold her tail to make her stay. LOL! We don't do it to hurt her, just enough to keep her there. She can usually get out of your grip, but then she comes back for more.

it looks just like a rubber curry comb that you use on a horse. you use it in a circular motion and it removes dried mud, loose hair, etc.

circular motion? I just brush. Maybe I should try the circular motion, see what happens. One night I was gonna be vacuuming anyway, so I went ahead and used the zoom groom. I brushed them in the hallway and just brushed, brushed, brushed. I didn't care where the hair went, I just brushed the heck outta the kitties. LOL! When I was done it looked like we had an animal fur rug laid out. Boy, did the vacuum get it nice and clean when I was done.

no, the circular motion is how you use a curry comb on a horse. horses have very short, thick coats. it's kind of like a massage. i really doubt your cats would appreciate having their hair brushed backwards.
