Billie is out of her heat

Whew! Thought I would go made with the meowing. Poor baby. 1/31 is her surgery day. I've heard they can go right back into it. I hope not.

I th ought Mi'Mi; heast cycle was complete, she had stopped "calling" and everything seemed back to normal....btu she was in fact still in her cycle.
So the surgery cost extra.

Hey Dawn...how is Mi Mi's aggression/territoriality issue going now that she's been spayed and not getting fed on the counter? I was wondering about that the other day...

Gudewife.....You would be Absolutely AMAZED. It is as if we brought home a new cat from the vets office that day.
She is friendly, never stops purring and just within the past 3 days has become a nightly lap kitty....she kneads to the point of drooling on me.
I get teary eyed about it, just thinking that I thought about re-homing her after she attacked my arm that one awful morning.
Moving her meals to another location is also a piece of the puzzle!
I set her food down now, talk soft, little pat on the back and walk away and let her eat alone....that is what she wants!
Thank You so much!

Excellent! So glad it worked out for you and Mi Mi, good job reading the signs and figuring out what she wanted. Sounds like you're both a lot happier now than you were a couple of weeks ago!
