The Herd: 2 Spays & 1 Neuter

Just got home with Pytu, Silke, and Smooth after having the appropriate alterations done. Smooth must have been done early in the day 'cause he doesn't seem too groggy. The other two are still very "drunk"....in fact Pytu fell over when she tried to turn her head to look at me Couple of hours and they should be much better. It was kinda nice to have a quiet ride home from the vet vs the trip over there

I enjoy the "calm after the storm" after having my cats neutered. All of my cats have turned into lap cats after the process and have also enjoyed being around each other a lot more. The "Drunk phase" ended quick with Tiger, but China slept for a few days when we brought her home from the vet. When we attempted to pick her up she was always limp and acted more like a heating pad for my husband and I. Cute stuff.

Sorry I haven't updated this sooner. Smooth was right back to his old self the very next day. Silke and Pytu have spent the last couple of days mostly snoozing, but they are up and around, almost back to 100% today. I'll be glad when the hair starts growing back

Spike...are you able to put the females in a quiet area?
The female's surgery is more extensive than the males.

The girls spent Thursday and Friday in an isolation room. We've been through 7 spays so far.....you're right, they can get pretty cranky the first couple of days back.
