Chloe had her surgery today

Well today Chloe had her spay surgery and vaccs. She is totally not happy to be back home seems like, maybe it is just me. She seems like she is grumpy, and it is probably from pain. She has taken to sleeping under the bed for the afternoon. I hope that tommorrow she will feel much better and be more herself. Even Lizzy has come under the bed to check on her, and that just isn't like Lizzy to be nice to Chloe, but they have been together for a little while now. Lizzy has even laid down under the bed with her. I am not worried that she will hurt her, but I am worried that Chloe is depressed and I dont know what to do to make her feel better.

She had it done this morning and is already home? Don't worry about it, she's probably still very tired and feeling the effects of the medication.

Best wishes, please keep us updated.

My cat's both came home after they woke up from the anesthesia, but my mom is also an anesthesiologist. We had a dog die because he had surgery and during the night complications arose and there was no one there to treat him. When the staff came in the next morning he was dead. We know longer go to that vet and my mom has made a strict policy that they animals go home after their surgery.

Chloe is probably just tired and sore. I bet she will be better in a few days. I wouldn’t worry that she is depressed,

Good luck and let us know how she is doing.

I decided to take a nap, it was a long morning for me, and when I awoke she was on the bed with me, and would take a treat, so not too worried now, she is feeling a little better. Lizzy has stayed in here with her. That is just awsome I think. She did not sleep close to her, but where she could watch her, I'm thinking WOW. You guys should see the way Lizzy treated her before, such a turn around. Now she is acting like she CARES about her.

Don't worry, she'll feel better in no time. It usually takes ours a couple of days to get back to the way they were

She is doing really good today. Eating and sleeping a little bit of play not too much, and keeping herself quiet. Staying near me too. She has smelled Connor but not seen him yet. She also spent some time checking out his carrier after he vacated it. Lizzy is just her normal goofy self today trying to get Chloe to play, ut she does not want to play chase game yet.
