Tuner is getting neutered.

I just dropped Tuner off at the vet to get neutered. He was so scared and nervous. I wish I could have stayed with him so he knows he will be ok. Gracie is here in my room wondering where her brother is. She is looking everywhere for him. I feel sad that I can't be with Tuner but I know that not getting him neutered is not an option. I also feel really bad because my friend drove me to the vet because I don't have a car and Tuner went pee pee in her car. I felt so bad, I guess he was just nervous.

I'm sorry if this is a stupid post. I just needed to get that off my chest.

It's okay, we all worry about our "kids" when they are scared and upset. He will be home before you know it.

I'm sorry Turner was so nervous! It's hard for us, too, dropping our babies off for surgery. But, the neutering surgery is relatively simple...it only takes a few minutes, really. And once Turner gets home, he should be like his old self after a little while of resting. Both of our boys started playing right away, even though they're not supposed to. No harm done, though. How are you gonna keep a boy from playing? Everything will be fine and Turner will be happy to be home tonight. Good luck and let us know how it all goes.

PS - sorry about your friend's car. Clean it with an enzyme spray (check pet supply store) to get the smell completely out.

No worries!

Don't worry... he'll be fine. i worry more when I stay with mine at the vets. When we first tried wet food with y cats - Bumepr stomach just did not agree with it and we brought him to the vet, he was so scared his skin went red and his fur all looked pink. I think I was worse than he was!

And as for peeing in the car... we brought Scully too the groomers a while back - he had really bad matts from never being brushed by the people who owned him. He peed on the groomer 3 times and had to be rewashed each time!

It's so hard to drop them off. I was so sad when Elly had to go, the vet on the ohter hand was sad she had to say, apparently she would not be quiet the entire time she was there. She seemed alittle hoarse when we picked her up

Absolutely your feelings are valid. Ditto what everyone said, I always feel soooooo bad when leaving my furrballs, especially at the vet! They always look so scared, and it just breaks my heart. So far all their vet visits have been only a day thing (knock on wood), so I just hang around the office, and bring a book.

Tuner is home!
He doesn't even seem groggy or sleepy or anything.
He is pretty much ready to play Of course I will try to keep him from overdoing it but I am so happy he is feeling fine.
Thank you guys for helping me feel better.

Mom was really hoarse for days -- she must have cried and cried at the vet!

Is Tuner young? I don't think they use as much anesthesia if they are little guys.

AWWW poor MOM.

Glad Turner is doing good. Conner was neutered yesterday before he came home.
