Whenever I have a box or my laundry basket out, Thomas loves putting his mice or other toys inside and then spends hours trying to get them out again.

I plan to put his mice and some dry food in this toy and hope it works to keep him entertained. I'll post after we try it out.
I posted this in a thread about cat toys last week. Well, we've had the peek-a-prize for a few days and I think I'm ready to say it's a success.

It's not a wildly fun toy, like Da Bird. But It does allow Thomas to keep active/engaged when I am otherwise busy. He's spent at least 45 minutes a night trying to get treats out of it, while I scrapbook.

And In the morning I pour his dry food (he gets about 15 kibbles) into the toy. When I get home from work, the peek-a-prize has had most of the toys removed, all the food eaten out, and it's usually pushed into some strange corner.

My favorite part is when he's trying to get his head to fit into one of the holes on the side. He smashes his whole face against it and pushes, which in turn pushes the whole box accross the room.

Wow that'S REALLY great I think I'll have to invest in one for Kilala's b-day.

I found a place that is having a sale of them for $16.99!

I was nervous when I first put it out because Thomas just kind of ignored it. But after I put food in there...he was very interested.

He just goes around and around it and pokes his feet in the holes and really seems to be puzzled and thinking about what to do.
