Cats are Home!

I brought my cats to our new home today...
Duchess has grown so big you guys wont
believe it when I post her picture....
I am going to give her the freedom of the room without
confinement and see what happens over the next week.

They were so good on the 45 minute drive here I could not believe it.
Almost no meowing and neither of them pee'd in the crate.

I stayed in their new room with them until they both used the litterbox.
They both went pee and poo! YAY.....*doing happy dance*

I plan to leave them in there for the afternoon and go down
to feed them this evening aftre the kids all go to sleep.
They are inquisitive of the room....everything in it is familiar to them.
They are darting under my sons bed when they hear a bump from upstairs.......*my sons bed* will be the big test for Duchess.
Everyone Please send {{{{*no pee pee vibes*}}}}

sending tons of {{{{*no pee pee vibes*}}}}

How were they at the old house when you picked them up, no problems there with the house being empty?
Funny, when we moved, they seemed to find more places to hide from me with all the furniture gone than when it was there.

Yes....Mi Mi wsa getting reallt stressed out and lonely.
She even threw up her food after I fed her.

As far as Duchess goes....its hard to say...she is naturally skittish.
They both went into the carrier willingly though.

maybe they where stressed out worried they would be left, but now they realize that you did not leave them behind.

i know when we moved here it was a 4 hour drive for lizzy in the carrier and she hated that, but we had to stay for 2 days at my sisters place and their cat totally hated her. She was really stressed by that but the day we started moving into our new place she seemed really at ease with it all, and very excited to be with everything that she knew was ours. She took it all fairly well i think.
