Hey everyone! I have a cat named skye i recently taught her sit,and i hold up a piece of food and tell her "one paw!" and she will tap it once with one paw and then wait for it! I also have started to jump her as well and she is trying to catch on to that. anybody elses cats do any cool tricks?

Sounds like you have a very smart cat that wants to please you! Thats wonderful!

My cat plays fetch really well, but thats all that he does as far as tricks go. He listens really well and when I tell him to do something he normally does it.

I love kitty tricks! Mojo will play fetch (but only when he's in the mood) and Jinx will roll over. I'm hoping to teach them some more while I'm on break from school this summer.

I had Winnie trained to stand on her hind legs on command and to come when her name is called (otherwise, what's the point of naming a cat?). This was back when she could hear.

Far as I know the only trick my cat knows is how to get food, by meowing until he gets it or tries to "redirect" you to the food dish lol.

anyways are there any links to sites that can teach you how to train your cats? Some I have seen involve the cat getting a treat from you, but my cat refuses to eat anything from the hand until its placed on the floor before him.

Charlie knows "sit" and plays fetch. He also knows how to leap into my hands, from the floor, when I clap for him to.

Sammi and I have a hand motion that we use to communicate. I will rub my fingers together and when she sees it, she will run over to me because that means she is getting a rub.

If I shake a treat bag, all four of mine will run over, sit and lift their paws fo a 'shake paw'.

Magnum will roll over when you whistle at him.

Bumpers special trick is pretending to be dead!
