Rabies vac for Connor

Today Connor got his rabies shot. He was very dismayed to be placed into the carrier and driven away from home. He cried and cried while we where leaving the house. I had to drive to the low cost clinic, which was about 38 miles. He was quiet when we got there, and came out of his kennel reluctanly, he got a brief exam, and his rabies shot, and then he did not want to go back into the kennel, but instead wanted to run off. Poor big boy was scared he was loosing his new home I guess. Then we where off again to come home. When we got here he ran out of his kennel and took up hiding under my bed for a while. He did finally come out and ate a couple of treats and visited with the girls. I hated to have to take him in, but he needed the shot, and I waited unitl he was comfortable enough with me to take him for it. poor big boy. Maybe next time wont be so hard for him. The girls are used to going.

He got a clean bill of health from the vet, and they think he may get larger still .
