Does anyone know where I can get pet insurance? Does anyone have it and have any advice. I've been recommened to take my cat to a neurologist and I'm freaking on how much it could cost!

Where do you live?

Seen as your vet has already recommended a neurologist, pet insurance may not cover it as it was a pre-existing condition.

Insurance here (Canada) varies from $10 for basic cover to about $25-30 a month for what you would need

I'm in the process of getting it for the dogs. The cats are both 11 and most insurance plans won't cover them for age. Plus Korbel is diabetic so no one will take her.
Plus, I'm just getting the major disaster insurance that covers accidents and surgeries. Since the cats are indoor only, the dogs are more likely to have something happen.

Mine covers cats over 8 as long as they are indoor only which is good and luckily I added Scully before I picked him up and took him to the vet so he was covered too.

I think VPI covers them until they are 10. Not sure though...I researched a bunch. I don't have mine yet, but hope to in the next month.

I have the same plan as jennifer2 is getting. I'm satisfied so far, but only have sent in one claim.
