kitten died before i got him

I haven't the slightest clue what is going on. I have posted in another section asking about the age of my future kitten. Well, it looks as though I am not getting him. He was one of three in a litter. He was the only blue point siamese. Also, he was in great demand. However, my gf and I were the first to get there to choose a kitten. We picked him and left a deposit. That was two weeks ago.

Now after not having been in contact with the onwner for a week and a half, my gf called up today. At that time they said the cats were playing but the mother was acting strange (like in heat.) After a few hours while my gf was on her way to the hospital due to a serious family issue (nice timing, yea?) the guy called up saying that the mother killed a kitten. Our kitten!!! Needless to say she was in shock! Me too!

I can't help but feel that I am having the wool pulled over my eyes and little blue is being sent off somewhere else or kept (they wanted to keep one of the three). If he did die, well I think that goes without saying.

I really don't know what to do here. Modern siamese are difficult to find in Korea and I really had my heart set on one. Uh ... I am lost and confused ..

thanks for listening ...

mee yan hae............ That is horrible. And cat's aren't a very popular pet from what I gathered visiting with My brother in Seoul.

I hope that you get all your deposit money back. Maybe you can find an international Cattery that would ship to you. I know that they do exist but I have never had the need to look for one myself. Or maybe if you have a relative in the States or in the UK that could get one for you and bring it with them when they visit or ship to you? ehhhh......... mola

jin ja mee yan hae..........
Good luck and I hope you don't give up!

Sorry to hear

Very sorry to hear that happened to a kitten you had your heart set on.

Would you ever consider a cat from your local shelter? Often they can be needled, spayed and whatever at no or low cost and given to you.

Sometimes saving an animal might be one of life's greater rewards than paying alot of money for a bred cat. You just never know....you need a cat and he needs you. Could be a never ending bond.
