I love this cat...

About ten minutes ago, I was in the living room, and heard rapid scrambling on the ladder in my room (I have a loft bed, with a wooden ladder mounted to the wall). I walk in there, and Miko is barely hanging on to the top rung upside down. She doesn't see me, but I reach her just in time to support her back and try to right her.

But instead of letting me help to steady her, she completely lets go of the rung she was frantically clinging to, and flops backwards into my arms. She's always been an incredibly trusting little kitty, but to stop panicking and simply fall into my hands...

(alright, I'll admit it, I'm a total mush )

Awww!

LOL
That reminds me of Paizly. She can climb on my bed, but if I'm around, she 'demands' I pick her up instead
(she can get off, just fine... no jumping up like normal kitties, with no back legs - which is good for keeping her off shelves and counters!)

~~~
I may be crazy, but it's kept me from goin' insane...
I think raising them from birth has made them incredibly social and trusting kitties. Either that, or YOU have made them so wonderful
I'd love to spend a day at your house just watching them. They seem like quite the little characters!
I love Miko stories...
But then again, she could have just been thinking "Oh, it's about time you got here, human servant; remove me forthwith from this precariousness, and I shall reward you by the making of the cute tortie face..."
(not that YOUR cat would ever think such a thing, of course...that's just a scrap of prose from a cocktail napkin I found in Assumpta's secret hiding place)
Well you know, Gudewife, on more than one occassion now I've come into my room and found the Cat Forum page up and I wasn't the one to leave it that way I think I may have to start password protecting my computer, lest they start picking up any other habits...
