just wondering if anybody else has made anything as crazy as this for their cats. So far i have made two large cat climbers and one cat bed. for some reason i can only get the pics of the large cat house to show. which just so happens to be for sale!

Wow, that is an impressive piece of cat furniture. We wouldn't even have room for something like that.

The most impressive thing I've ever made for my cats was a feathered cat toy. I got some feathers and sewed their ends together on one end of a long leather strip, and then tied the other end to a riding crop. It's sort of a homemade version of Da Bird.

It works fairly well, but I could probably make the next version into their favorite toy by adding something with substance so they actually feel like they've caught an animal when they get it. And a rattley bit that makes noise...

HAHAHAHA this is pathetic but this is what My Boyfriend and I have made for Kilala because we had the materials, we had the time and Kitty was scratching the furniture!

Yours is Gorgeous though!

So, how much are you asking for a monster like that?

I wish I had even a fraction of the talent it would take to put something so impressive together. Props to you!

That is SO COOL!!!!
Wish I had room for something like that. The cats would just love it. I've been thinking about making a cat tree (though much smaller than that one!) and I would be interested in knowing more about how you made it. The round pieces are usually made from concrete tube molds right? How do you attach the carpet so that it looks so nice?
