Quinn's bath!

We finally got everything organized and decided to take the plunge, so to speak. I just wanted to say thanks to all who offered advice on this adventure. It went pretty well. We put her harness and it really paid off on the two major attempts she made to leave the scene. Using the buckets of water to scoop onto her rather then having the tap on was a great idea as well. Aside from a few curses she didn't seem too stressed at all. Too bad we were out of film, some pics of the spikey hairdo would have been priceless. Anyway, after she was pretty much dried out, I took the ol zoom groom to her and OMG! I had to check to make sure we didn't use a depilitory on her by accident! Hopefully I got most of the loose hair out of her coat and she won't be hacking up a hairball the size of a grapefruit tonight. So thanks again all! Quinn is looking great, all sleek and shiny and we managed it without the chain armor too

Sounds like it went very well. Some cats seem to do okay with baths.

Congrats on your little adventure!! I think a periodic bath is a great idea. Cats do keep themselves very clean, but still after a bath their fur is so nice and soft and sweet-smelling.
