Boy, that's awfully expensive for what you're getting. I think they're doubling the price on account of the heart-shaped opening.

I spend that on groceries for a week! I'd say they are ripping you off. My cats prefer the non hooded litter boxes. It allows for a quick escape from any litterbox ambushes. These are the prefered boxes for my cats and they are very inexpensive.

I just bought a corner litter box with a lid... IT'S HUGE INSIDE! It's almost double the size of a regular litter box. My girls don't like the lids, so I don't use that part, but if you want a hooded one I would recommend the corner style. The one I got was $35.99

Here is the litterbox I made for our cats. Its not much to look at, but its big enough for 4 cats, works great, easy to clean, and best of all, was really cheap! (about $6 I think)

I suppose I could make it a bit fancier by spray painting it a pretty color and cutting the hole to be heart-shaped. hehe

I'm not going to spend THAT MUCH money on something my cats are going to poo in! I got one that similar to the one fbodgrl gave you a link to, above. I just used some acrylic paint to paint fun to make it more appealing to the eye.

Someone posted this a while back... not sure if they ever bought it tho.

There are bigger and better ones for cheaper out there... but they don't look as cool!
