Evil Washing Machine

Well my poor daizy is going to be really upset with me...Somehow her FAV little mousey got put in the washer and dryer with my hubby's clothes. I found the remains today (not a real mouse). I knew it was her fav when I saw that it had no ears or eyes, Daizy pulled them off immediatly after she got to play with it. So far i can't tell if she has noticed it missing but we shall see. Evil washer and dryer! It was all mushed up and there was no stuffing in the body area. and the head part was flat! Oh well hopefully she'll find another fav mousey.

Have any of you ever accidently "killed" a fav toy before?

I haven't, but my dog has

The little catnip scented mouse toys you see everywhere, I guess they're made of some sort of leather type material? Anyway, apparently they are delicious, because my dog has eaten like 4 of them. The rest of the toys she doesn't bother with much.

Needless to say, anything she so much as thinks about chewing on is no longer a favorite of my cat. I don't blame him, I wouldn't want to play with something that smelled like dog breath!

Nope! Allie doesn't have a favorite toy. She never took to toys. Only one stick with feathers. And she hasn't played with that in months. Though she does have her two favorite "Bankies" blankets. Where ever you put them she lays. She definately hates it when I wash them and get her scent off!

Munchie had a mouse thingie attached to a 2ft dowel rod by means of a piece of monofilament line. That was his favorite toy when he was younger. I would have it hung over a desk with the mouse dangling and Munch would go after it! I got the string caught and thus broke it, but it was repaired.

When I was in Canada, I picked up a toy at a local Pet-Valu store called a Polter-Pounce. It was a mouse-like thing wrapped around a small plastic coil spring. When Munchie would go to grab it with his paw, catching it a certain way would cause the spring to rebound and then bounce away from him. Munch would go chase it only to have the same results. Sadly, his polter-pounce was damaged when it was stepped on.

Yup! I sucked up Slinky's "baby" in the vacuum cleaner! Her "baby" was a little stuffed animal my son had gotten in a McDonald's Happy Meal that she just fell in love with and carried everywhere she went. She missed her "baby" for a little while.

Poor Slinky! Precious has a bunch of catmip mousies, and seems to prefer the black and white one, but she's fickle. I need to get her something new. She's just tired of her toys.

Yeah, Baby used to play w/ this black and white stuffed cat puppet, but the stuffing was coming out of it because she wrestled w/ it so much and we kept on sewing its neck up but then we had to throw it away. We got two of them, but the other one broke as well. She still has her other toys and puppets though.
