I have never breed my cat and don't plan to ever breed any of them. Too risky for someone who doesn't know what they are doing.

I will never breed a cat because there are Plenty of kittens and cats that I could give my love to in shelters or save from Kill shelters. Furthermore the time money and commitment into breeding a purebred and the paperwork is a LOT more then I could ever handle.

The vet told me after Nya's spay that she's HAD kittens, but that was before she found me, so I have know way of knowing how many times she's been a mummy.

I agree with everything that's already been said... we're advocates of spaying and neutering on this site.

Tigger's mother came to us pregnant - so I don't think that would be considered breeding. After that our animals have all been fixed.

If I were to breed - I think it would have to be because I loved a certain breed of cat and I wanted to do good by my cats. Although I'm not sure if I would ever really want to... there are so many things to consider and do... and you can really mess things up if you don't know something.

I'll know if and when I'll be able to do it though. I have to have the money and the time to spend on such a thing though - and make sure everything is perfect... which isn't now.
