I'm sorry I don't know what breed they are
But, Lucky put the babies back in the room where she had them so it might be another day or two. But they are so precious

I love kittens, and I'll look forward to the pictures! I know you're not in charge, but would your mom resent being told that Mother cat should be spayed--for the sake of her health and the fact that thousands of cats and kittens are being put down in shelters weekly? Perhaps you could approach her by saying, "Mom, do you know what I read on the Cat Forum today?" Of course, you should wait until the kittens are weaned. Good luck, and please post pictures. We need our kitten fix!

p.s. Don't let mother cat out. She can get pregnant while still nursing!

^ Getting her fixed in the next few weeks, after she's done nursing

Also, I tried to pet the kittens today but they just hissed at me, but when Lucky was in the room with me they were still scared but didnt hiss. Does this mean they will always be scared?

No, but I would start handling them a lot. Ideally, you would start handling them when only a few days old. Just spend lots of time with them, and give them lots of play time and love.
