Spaying.

I know that this question probably sound rather stupid, but..

As it seems like my youngest cat is going into heat for the first time-- should I wait till it's over, or would it be ok do do it while she's in heat?

And I know that I should have gotten it done earlier, no excuses from my side there really.

Nemrai , it's not a stupid question!

You don't need to wait. Make the appointment with the vet as soon as you can.

You and your cat will both be more comfortable all the sooner that way!

Just tell your vet she's in heat and let the vet advise you when.
