does your cat like ice-cream?

One of my cats LOVES ice-cream! He goes insane when I have some, I have to push him away. I let him lick the bowl when I am done with it. (just a few licks).

Buster loves it. My husband was eating ice cream one night and turned his head away to talk to one of the kids. When he turned back, Buster had his face buried in the bowl!

Oddly, Buster does not like the whipped cream from Starbucks.

Skeeter loves IT and my cereal milk. I only give them whatever is clinging to the sides of the bowl when I'm done (since dairy is BAD for cats). Binx, however, only drinks it because he sees his big brother doing it. I think he could care less about it.

Velvet likes to lick out our ice cream bowls after we are finished with them, and lets us know if we forget to let her do it!

Blueberry likes the whipped cream, but, just as with the spagettios, if I give it to him, he's not interested. Only the forbidden fruit---what's left in the bowl or container lid - is good, really good. It's better yet if he thinks I don't see him.

Strangely, they both sit and stare while I'm eating. They're very polite--just put on a sad look and sit there. But when I save a piece of meat for them, they don't want it--unless it's ham or chicken. I can keep the steak and fish. They don't want it. I think they just want to give me a guilt trip! It's the same with ice cream. My other cats would have been so happy to get ice cream or steak!

Roo and Crystal both like it. When they see someone with it they give them what I call their "ice cream look"! They stare and kind of tilt their head to the side.

They've never had any... I don't share my ice cream with anyone...

They like cereal milk though... Ariel will sit in front of me on the table, and if I look away for even a second - splat! - she smacks the cereal with her paw and licks the milk off.

That's funny, not very sanitary, but very funny! I had a cat who would put her paw down in a glass to get milk, and then lick it off her paws! Who could resist that? Who could say "no?"
