Icky Moments

My Persian yacked up yet another hairball along with several pools of foamy vomit kind of stuff. Before I even had a chance to clean it up one of hte other cats immediately ran over to it and started licking up the vomit and licking its chops. It looked happy like it just consumed a really tasty treat. Ick!

What are your icky moments with your cat?

The cats pretty much vacuum anything up off the floor that's the same size as their food - bugs, lint balls, small pieces of their own poo... I sweep the floor every day but I just can't keep up with the little goats!!

Oh - I have another icky moment, but it's partially my fault. Any other cat mommies with long hair might sympathise. Sometimes one of them will swallow one of my hairs, and poop it out... but it'll get stuck coming out of their bum, so they'll be trailing along this piece of poop by a long hair... it makes me gag.

Something I guess I will have to get used to.... my cat can be licking his bottom one second, then come up to me and lick me on the hand, or worse on the face! EW EW EW!
Or after he does a "poo" in his litter box.. he comes running in to my room and hops on my bed to visits and plops his butt down on my comforter... i just don't like thinking about it......
good thing he is cute

I know! Gross, huh? Mine put skid marks all over my hardwood floors and my sofa with litle chunks of poo scattered all around where it got caught up in his long hair and then eventually fell off onto the ground. One of the other cats was playing around with what I thought was a fake mouse but was actually one of the chunks of poo that had fallen from my Persian's hairy butt.

Oh and then sometimes when the Persian turns its head quickly or something it sprays its eye juice everywhere!

I sometimes think of that too! But Pepper does this weird thing, I've written about it before, and it's definately an icky moment...

Pepper "loves" blankets a little too much...if you know what I mean.... So I have to keep my bedroom door shut ALL the time. He's fixed, but for some reason he does that!!??!! I'm so confused, but I guess it does happen. Not a lot, but it does! So I don't feel *to* bad. He has a blue blankee that I let him have, and whenever I happen to walk by and see him "doin' it", I just get so grossed out!! That's definately and icky moment with my kitty!

My kitty is a perv! LOL!!!!

Other than eating a bug or Snowball sniffing Simone's butt, I don't think they do anything icky!

Oh yeah, Snowball wipes his butt on the floor at times. He doesn't leave any marks and I've had his anal glands checked but they've been empty. I just say he's taking care of an itch. Well, he does it whenever, not necessarily after using the pan.

*Sigh* Miles does the same thing with his bear (formerly MY teddy bear) -- it's about the same size as him, and he likes to drag it in the room in front of EVERYONE (including guests) to love on it. He was neutered as an adult, so I don't know if that had something to do with it, but it definitely is creepy.
