Ugh. I feel like crying.

Banzai was supposed to come home tonight, but I just got an email from the breeder saying he got a rabies vaccination and now has runny eyes and nose, so she won't be sending him until next week. My kids are going to be so disappointed when I tell them after school today. They were looking forward to this more than the end of the school year this Friday.

My husband is mad. He thinks these people are flakes who are ripping us off. I don't think so, but all this is now putting doubt in my mind. I was so sure these were good people. They certainly seem to be concerned about the kitten, but there are constant delays to his coming home. First, he was supposed to come home mid-May, then late-May, then mid-June, now it will be late June. By the time we get him, he won't be a kitten anymore!

I am sorry to hear that.

They grow so fast in the first months. I hope you get him soon.

That is too bad. I have been paying attention to your story.
I could see how it would be easy to get suspicious, but if you DO get the cat in a week, then maybe the breeder is just veryoverprotective and doesn't want to send out the kitten until he is 100%
By any chance did the breeder come with references. Have you checked their statuss with CFA and or TICA? Fingers crossed all works out for you
