Cats and their perfect timing.

So I had my mum staying the night last night. It's the first time she has met my two cats Six and Amelia (Six is polydactyl so he has loads of randome toes, hence Six).

My mum has always been a bit down on cats because she likes the wild birds in her garden. So of course we give up our bed and sleep in the lounge and my mum wakes up early and goes to make herself a cup of tea this morning. Now bear in mind she has had a lovely time last night petting the cats and telling them how sweet they are etc. etc.

So she sat there drinking her tea waiting for my wife and me to stir when Six comes through the catflap.........with a full fledged Starling twittering in his mouth. All that great PR destroyed in one second! Fortunalty mum got the bird from him and it was fine, but talk about timing! I think my mum is now off cats for good!

Well...it's hard not to love a cat! One of our cats stole a chicken my mum had hatched herself and killed it. She hates it when they catch stuff but she still has 3 cats in her house....
