That's such a shame. They seldom live long, poor babies.

Quite a sad story...

The breeder sounds like she has been experimenting and coming up with new breeds, obviously not recognized by CFA or TICA... something has gone horribly wrong in her "experiments"

Amazing what people do to get their 15 minutes of fame...

Right on, Jackie! I get really upset when I hear about irresponsible breeders. It's infuriating. The animal's health should be of first priority. If they thought it would make money, there are people who would try to duplicate this defect by breeding this kitten and then charging thousands for any resulting kittens with the defect.

I wonder if they will be followign up on this little kitten.
If she does make it....I wonder how she will know which
direction to walk?

Dawn, that's a terrible thought, isn't it? Poor little lamb![/quote]

I saw that over the weekend. So sad indeed. However, I just wonder if it is not so much the breeding procedure as it is the fact that the two embryos did not separate properly. But then, I am far from a geneticist/biologist.
