Great $1 finds at Target!!

I was hanging out with a friend the other night when she realized she was out of toilet paper... we were going to stop by Wal Mart but at the last minute decided to go to Target. I'm not sure why I never go... its closer to my house, its got such great stuff... I guess I forget its there.

Anyway - you know the little "dollar store" section they have at the front? I found the BEST stuff!!

First, a little stand with two paw print bowls, then a cute treat container, again paw print. Lots of toys... the fuzzy mice were 3 for $1 and the balls were 6 for $1!! (Addison loves the mice, not sure about the balls... if he decides he doesn't like them I'll take them for the kittens at work).

The best find of all was the collar... sure I've seen some I like a little better, but seriously - A DOLLAR!!!

First, most of the goodies...

Close up of the paw print bowls and treat container (just the right size for the C.E.T Chews!

and the collar!!

(the tag was mine... but still looks great!)

And the model, showing off the great new buy!

"Aww Mom, that's enough already!"

I love Target! What great stuff! I love the kitty bowls and the treat container.

I wish they had these cool goodies at my store. Our dollar section was full of junk toys for kids. Maybe I'll have to go back...

My friend and I decided that we're going back tomorrow after work to see if the bowl sets are still there... then we'll get a bunch for work. The cats are constantly knocking over their bowls, or getting litter kicked in them, etc. So these could be the perfect solution! And they're so darn cute!!

I'm going to guess that he had surgery for a hematoma. My Checkers had that, and I just told people she was part collie! It comes from kicking at the ear to stop an itch.

How close am I, Jessie?

About as close as anyone else can guess

I adopted him that way. Both vets that have seen him both guess it was something to do with a hematoma...one said he looked as if he had chronic ear problems in the past (seems just fine now though!).

I just call him my little wannabe Scottish Fold

Oh WOW! I cant get my dog to stop that with his right ear.
That is kinda scary! He makes it bleed. Vet checked it time and again and there is nothing wrong with it. I even had them flush his ear while he was under having his surgery. He is always after that ear!
I never heard of a hematoma...

The best thing about Target is that their $1 section becomes 25 cent section right after Christmas.

Can't wait for the after-Christmas sales...
