how many of you have a room for your cats?

when our roomate moved out we turned his room into

THE CAT ROOM

it's my personal accomplishment-there are plently of perches and a window lounge for them and a carpet wall where they are free to climb

also lots of toys on stretchy string for them to attack

plus they have a place where they can be alone
there are boxes to play in and things to hide under

Sounds like your cats are very pampered. No, I don't have a cat room, unless you count the backyard as a room. I don't .

Cats were once worshipped like gods. They never let us forget that.

Yes, I have a cat room. But they prefer using the rest of the house as their own living space.

Well, we have two spare rooms in the house. One that was being used as a bedroom but isn't being rented this year, so it's empty (being used as storage), and the other is the "library" (has built in bookcases, a fireplace and some really nice chairs, but is too small for us to use regularly). Matt won't let me turn EITHER of these rooms into a cat room. So sadly, no, mine have to make due with sharing the house with the rest of us

The kitties have run of the house. But, in one of our spare bedrooms I turned it into a kitty playroom!

I am probably the only person in the universe whose "living room" is the cat room.

I never have guests in my place, anyway (graduate students have no social life )

When we had the sunroom added to our house our cat Sarah took it over. We keep it closed on days when it is too hot or too cold and she lets us hear about it all day. Seriously. I mean ALL day. She's mostly siamese, and therefore has quite the voice.

Mom always says when I move out she's giving my old room to Sarah. But I don't see the point. However Mom fixes the room, Sarah will ignore her gifts and designs.
