They always get something special on their B-days.

Whether it's some tuna or a nice piece of chicken to a new toy.

Just something special!

They get to eat their favorite canned cat food for a week.

They also get a new scratch post.

My kitties get a special DAY on their birthdays (or adoption days) of treats, extra special play time, and petting time ALONE with "mommy" and new catnip toys, or whatever their favorite toy is.
Sometimes it's hard to keep up with which cat loves which TOY the most. lol
And since I have two "sets" of siblings - They "celebrate" their birthdays with new toys on the "day" and extra mommy time, separately, during the same week as their birthdays.

My cats LOVE their little "sherpa" cozy blankets that are little round beds.

They also LOVE the mylar "fish" or "balls" tha crinkle when they toss them around.

I also often get them the little catnip pillows that are about 3 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. Small enough to "carry around, easily - but big enough to rub their head on.

But my cats FAVORITE toys of ALL TIME are the interactive WAND toys -- I have a dresser drawer with several of them with different feather or BIRD lures on the end.

Oh yes!!! Mylar balls!!! Get a couple dozen of them!!! My cats love them so much they are constantly disappearing into the void of "kitties' secret stash"

(Actually, I suspect my ex-roommate threw some away )

My kitties get a few little toys on their birthdays and everyone shares baby food as a treat.

OH -- JJ -- ALL of my cats LOVE the meat baby food, too!
Isn't it cute how much they love a bite or two of baby food?
My cats will FLOOD my lap when I sit down with a jar of baby food and a spoon

I celebrate my cat's birthday plus at christmas time he gets presents and has his own stocking with his name on it. I also get a small christmas tree and the only ornaments on it are cat ornaments. I am crazy! I usually get him cat treats, new toys, cat nip, scratch post. I think this christmas he and the new kitty I am getting in 5 weeks will be getting a cat condo.
