polydactyl stray - Boy or Girl?

Wednesday morning we got a little surprise with a tiny, scrawny, screaming kitten running around underneath our cars. I finally managed to catch it, and as soon as I wrapped it in a towel, it started purring. It was skin and bones and very vocal about it. It's been crated since then, though it comes out to play. We think it's about 5-6 weeks old, and it's not really afraid of anything. The other cats hiss, and the big dog noses... it'll hiss at the dog and ignore the cats. It's quite active, and still vocal... I'm working on getting the OK to keep it... cross you fingers for me... but I need a teeny bit of help. Upon first glance, I thought it was a boy. Upon furth inspection, I was pretty sure it was a girl. Now my mom's convinced it's a boy, and so we need help... because if it is indeed a boy, I'd better stop calling it Gracie

Gracie's butt:

Gracie's feet, 6 toes in front, 5 in back:

Thanks

She's a little girl! (She needs a baby wipe, I fear! She'll learn. ) I hope you can keep Gracie.

Ha That's what I thought, I just needed some back up, thank you guys And yes, I do apologize for the dirty butt. She's working on it

Also, I have looking in the paper and online for Lost kitten ads, but I've come up with nothing, which frankly, in this area, doesn't surpise me one bit.

This may help

Quote:
Both male and female kittens have two openings in the anal area. They are closer together in the female. The one closest to the tail in both sexes is the anus. In a female, the vulva is a vertical slit almost joined to the anus like an upside down exclamation mark. In a male, the tip of the penis is hidden in a small round opening about 1/2 inch below the anus. Testicles in a male kitten usually become obvious when the kitten is about 6 weeks old and clearly visible in an adult male who is not neutered.

This is the only image I could find. Sorry it’s not in English, but I think you could tell the difference between to the two diagrams.

Thanks for the diagram I've always been right in the past, and they've always trusted me on these things, so I'm not sure why the sudden doubt with Gracie... who is doing very well so far and has a much cleaner butt
