how many cats do you have?

Hello

I am from Canada. Ontario to be exact. I only have 1 cat right now but I would love to have many more someday lol Just curious how many do you all have? are they indoor or outdoor? Also where are you from? Do you find keeping multiple cats difficult or expensive? LOVe to hear what you have to share!

Well, we have a lot of kitties. All indoor only and spayed/neutered. I don't know, I've always had mutliple cats, even while growing up, so for me it's what's normal. Sure, there's more work involved than if we just had 2 or 3 kitties...more litterboxes to clean, more chances of hairballs I gotta clean up, more chances of them getting into something and making a mess but for me it's worth it. And yes, of course it's more expensive than having fewer kitties! But we're able to financially support the kitties and we both work from home, so they get tons of mommy/daddy time.

Well....I guess my user name says it all.
Three indoor cats but one is an "outdoor wannabe"
It's a little more expensive than one and a little more work but triple the fun for sure. I love having more than one cat. It's so fun to get to know each one and their unique personality. I love watching the cats play and have fun together, or sleep together, doing all those kitty things together. Personally, I think it's all around easier to have more than one.

I have 2 indoor kitties. I think the more the merrier as long as they all get along. The basic food, litter etc is not that much different for 1 cat or more but the vet bills, when you have them can get expensive. I happen to have 2 cats that have digestive problems - so prescription food and vet visits are more expensive. My inlaws have 2 cats and they never get sick, and they feed them the cheapest food you can buy. Go figure.

I have four indoor kittys, we have the litter maid clean sweep litter box so the time it takes for cleaning those is reduced, and I find we use less litter too cause the litter box filters out just the clumps that sometimes the human sweepers might take more!... Price: yes more expensive, but like others have said way more fun!...

I had two. I fostered three kittens. I ended up keeping all three of them.

Keeping five cats is QUITE expensive for me. However, it is still cheaper than therapy.
