Very Happy Kitties

Just a little story to share because only cat lovers would understand my joy. It's getting a little cooler here as fall is on the way and it is soon time to bring out the wool. When it's cold in the winter, my all 3 of my cats love nothing more than to get all snuggly in wool. I usually just find old sweaters. Well, I was given a free sewing machine recently as a lady was doing some major cleaning and wanted to give it away. Needless to say, I was quite pleased to take it as I didn't have one. I'm not much of a seamstress but I can sew straight lines at least, so thought it was be useful for some things. Being the frugal person I am, decided to take some old wool sweaters that I no longer wear and make each of my sweeties a little wool blanket. They are so happy! They just love their new little wool blankies. And they were free which makes me even happier!

Best things in life are free, as I always say, and this is a purr-fect example! How wonderful for your cats! I'm sure they were happy.

Woohoo!! It made *me* feel all warm and fuzzy inside. How considerate and creative you were, I get sooooo proud when I get/make things that are a hit with the furrkids. And free, can't get better than that!

Hey threekitties I never thought of that. What a good idea, I was thinking of buying a few cat beds. None of the cats that I have ever owned used them, but I'm sure these three would appreciate a snuggly sweater. Thanx for sharing.
