Oliver Update

He barfed again last night....I'm dropping him at the vet tomorrow and they are going to sedate him and look at his tummy and see what the problem is.

I can't afford this but I can't really deny him medical attention either...

Oh boy. I was so hoping it was just a minor bug that he'd get over in a few days.

He's in good hands, anyway.

Thanks for the update.

I'm so sorry Oliver isn't better, Heather. I hope the vet can figure out the problem soon.

What's with our Tabby babies? Oliver is vomiting and not feeling good, Scotty can't seem to shake his UTI...are we sure they're not connected in some strange way??

Oliver is such a strong, big boy, I'm sure he'll pull through. *hugs*

Thanks, I'm hoping he gets over this too. He's just so hungry right now but I can't feed him because he has to be sedated tomorrow. He used to know that when he used his scratching post, he'd get a treat. Well, when I got him declawed, he starting "sharping his claws" on our stainless steel kitchen garbage can. So now, when he does that he gets treats because even if he doesn't have claws, I still like to reinforce what he thinks is good behavior. Anyways, every time I go downstairs he runs to the garbage can to sharpen his "claws." I just feel so bad because I can't give him treats. My poor tabby boy!

Scotty can't shake his UTI? Poor tabby! Is he getting any better? By friends cat, (which happens to be Oliver's brother) has a UTI and they thought he was better because he started to use his litterbox again but he is now barfing up his meds.

Our poor kitties! Let's home all three of these tabbies shake thier illnesses!!!

Edited: Because my grammer sucks.

He's acting just fine, but he's still licking himself down there and he's already had two weeks worth of antibiotics. He was using the litterbox before and after his trip to the vet, with the exception of two times. He hasn't had an incident since he started meds, but I'm still pretty sure he's got an infection.

I managed to get a urine sample to take though. Man, it took him forever to pee!

Heather, I've been away and just read about Oliver, how is he doing? Did they find a way to help him?
