kittens losing teeth

kittens are suppose to lose their baby teeth right? When I found the first one, I was a bit worried. I found one early August and I have found a grand total of 5 now. Both cats are about the same age of 6 months

Wow -- many folks don't even notice when they fall out they're so tiny. How much did the Tooth Fairy put under the pillow for your kitties?

I totally found the first one by fluke - it was sitting right on the couch, and it was one of the smaller teeth so I thought it was nothing until I picked it up.

The boyfriend has hardwood floors and he doesn't sweep often so I do it and that's when I noticed a couple more. Then again on the dark blue bathroom rugs. - So that makes four. Yesterday when I went to feed them, I found one in the middle of the food bowl.

This is completely normal right?
These two brats are really close in age.. so I don't think I am able to tell whose losing what tooth

oh, and the tooth fairy gave Fry treats the first time around because she figured it was him =) Rogue doesn't like treats and Fry was very spoiled on Sunday when we had a BBQ. He STOLE a whole burger patty and ran away with it! And chomped on some lettuce

I once heard a lot of kittens end up swallowing baby teeth as they come out while the kitten is eating.
We found one of Velvet's baby teeth in the carpet; my husband stepped on it. I called the vet the next morning to ask if it was normal for kittens to lose their teeth, we were concerned too.

Consider yourself lucky to find the teeth! Kittens usually swallow them so we never get to find them! I've only found 2 of mine before. Kittens start losing their baby teeth around 4 - 6 months old.

ok, 4 months makes me feel better. My two cats at home (Luna and Max) are 4 years old and I had them since 4-6 weeks old and never noticed any teeth.

This is going to sound weird - the first one, I just put in a ziplock bag because 1) i was concerned and 2) it was gross and weird at the same time. I was going to make a book for both of them and put it in there but the more I keep finding, I just keep adding to the bag. So now I have a baggie of kitten teeth. haha
