how do you talk yourself out of a new one

I just went to the pet store to get bird toys, bird food, and cat food and there was a cage up front with the cutest little kittens ever in it!!! I got them out and held them and they didn't want to let go, they wanted attention so bad. They looked like they were around 4-5 weeks old and on the cage there was a sign that said "free to good home". OMG I wanted to take one home with me soooooooo bad! But then in the back of my mind was... you already have 8 cats are you nuts! Someone dropped them off at the store and now the store is trying to find homes for them. Too bad they don't stay that small forever huh?

Right now, it's easy to talk myself out of more. I have too much going on right now with moving and financial stuff that I just know it's something that I shouldn't do.

I am leaving the door open for a third cat sometime down the road... but that will have to be the limit for me.
