A New Bed??

I will have to post a picture of this sometime this weekend.......I bought my cat China a new scratching pad, the ones made out of cardboard. Now, she shredded the last one to bits, but this one, she thinks is a bed!! She sleeps on it all day long. And her favorite bed is right next to it! I know that cats like to sleep in cardboard boxes, but it was just weird since she didn't do this to her last scratching box.

Anyone else's kitties use strange places to sleep?

Did she rip it apart like this? https://www.catforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=25049

Baily sleeps in an old shoe box too small for him and at nights with me. Psycho sleeps in the middle of the floor or at the base of the shower.

If you can't spoil a pet, there is no use in having one.

My cats do that too!
I come home from work all the time to see BOTH of my cats just passed right out on their cardboard scratching pad... it's hilarious!

Does yours have catnip in it? Mine does... I wonder if that has anything to do with it

Denzel sleeps on top of my wardrobe which seems odd to friends when they come over. He kept jumping up there and sleeping so one day I had to make it his bed.
