One day and one night...

So I have to leave my foster kitty for a whole day and night. She's about a year old but still acts like a kitten sometimes...=)
I'm still not sure if i can find anyone to come and visit her since it's a holiday weekend in canada and all my friends are going out of town.
I'm pretty sure she'll be fine on her own but my question is whether it's okay to keep her in the (not well ventilated) bathroom where she's safe and can't get into anything (like we do when we are out for a couple hours), or if it's better to have her roaming in the rest of the house. We've tried to cat proof but every now and then she surprises my by getting into something new so i'm kind of afraid of what she'll do if she's alone and bored for that long.
What's the consensus?[/i]

I would say let her have free roam of the house. Just leave some toys for her so she doesn't get bored.

My opinion is to leave her safely in the bathroom. If she hasn't been supervised 'outside' before, who knows what she'll discover in the rest of the house, even if just for a night. No matter how cat-proofed I think it is here, mine still manage to surprise me.
